" It's been a year Leo! ... It took you long enough."
Ellliot is the most important person in Leo's life; not only his master, but his best friend and the one person he would do anything in the whole wide world for. Even if at first he looked at Elliot as just any noble with too big of an ego and mouth and without much (or any) redeeming qualities, the shared interest of playing the piano, writing music and reading brought them closer pretty quickly. It helped that Elliot - after the first stupid outburst about being a noble and thus supposed to be treated accordingly or something like that - basically treated Leo like not just an orphan but an actual human-being. Completely different from how any of his family did. Leo enjoys his company a lot, both when he's quiet and watches whatever Leo is doing and when he's being loud and annoying. He's amusing to tease and a pleasure to talk to and someone who Leo has told more than he has told anyone else even while there are things he hides, and it goes the same the other way. And Elliot's shorter temper helps Leo keep control of his own. They compliment each other nicely, that way. In becoming Elliot's servant and thus basically being around him 24/7 Leo grew even closer to Elliot, and Elliot grew closer to Leo, which formed their relationship into what it is today. That is; a friendship of deep understanding, trust and respect where no silences are unnecessary and few words really need to be spoken. But in a way it is also a burden, for Leo has done things he feels should never be forgiven and never forgives himself for, but is too scared to tell even if he thinks he should. If just for the fact to have at least told them, even if he's not sure Elliot would remember them. As a result, Elliot makes Leo both so very happy and so very miserable, sometimes leaves him torn and unsure of what to do. Though even while Leo regrets so many things and wishes he could make them undone, he wouldn't trade Elliot for anything and no matter what, he wants to keep being able to call him a friend.

No doubt; Leo doesn't like Vanessa, that part is simple enough. It's not so bad that he immediately wishes her dead or anything, but he certainly wouldn't care about it and the only reason he wouldn't want for it to happen is because Elliot cares about her. They are, after all, brother and sister. That is really the main reason that, if need be, Leo would protect her, putting aside the fact that it's kind of his duty as a servant of the household. Really, Elliot influences Leo's attitude towards her or anyone else in the family a lot. Since Elliot treasures them, Leo will do what is required of him, with some amount of snark every now and then for his own sake, to not bend and break too easily. He really has no reason whatsoever to really respect her, though, because even while she's not as bad as the others she has still not treated him as anything but crap, a disgrace, and to him she is still petty and narrow-minded no matter what tiny things she may have done to redeem it slightly. It's not enough. Although... she does truly care about Elliot, and that would be a small plus. He'll treat her with some amount of respect because he has to, but nothing else. Still, he can't resist the urge to subtly, or not-so-subtly, mock her now and then either, whenever the opportunity arises. He rather likes pissing her off, as long as she doesn't hit him.

~Dropped~ While Leo has never made a point to get to know Sharon very much he has always seen her as someone kind, gentle and likeable. Interacting with her more directly in Somarium has only strengthened this, especially since she told him not to bother with formalities because ranks don't matter here. He's not so fond of the rank idea in society, after all, so that's a big plus. He definitely likes her.

~Dropped~ Break is... really, really weird. Leo hasn't really managed to form much of an opinion of him, although he seems alright so far. Leo has never really talked to him much at all, so he's not jumping to conclusions about anything. He is liked by people, after all, so he can't be rotten straight through or anything like that, logically. But Leo doesn't really believe in relying on others' words when it comes to people so he'll wait to get to know Break better before he decides anything further about him. The weirdness is intriguing, at least, he's decided that much.

Mainly, Oz is perhaps someone Leo looks at as Elliot's friend, but he is also Leo's friend. It's a little strange, because aside from the orphans at Fianna he sees as family and Elliot, Leo has had no one he considers himself remotely close to for his whole life. So to suddenly meet Oz on a whim and come to befriend him so quickly, that is... Well. It caught him as much off-guard as his relationship with Elliot did? But it always seems to be that way, and it's not something he thinks way too much about. Oz has become someone he feels he can trust, enough to share some of his deepest feelings with, and that was a first after Elliot. It's nothing he minds, though, not at all. It's pretty simple that way. Leo thinks of Oz as a friend, someone he treasures and cares for but, really, what weighs the heaviest is that trust. He knows he can rely on Oz, so he will, above all else. He might feel a little bad for piling things on Oz's shoulders, but it's important, and he knows Oz would forgive him for it.

Ada Vessalius ♣ ♥
"...please take care of yourself, okay? Elliot would be very sad to see you hurting like that."
Ada is far from someone Leo would consider close or important to him, but neither is she someone he doesn't care at all about. There is no reason for him not to, because she has always been kind even if he considers her quite gullible. And she is, truly, Oz's sister and there is something about both of them that Leo supposes draws people to them. While their whole demeanor may be a little suffocating, they both carry some sort of light, a light far from as pleasant or bright as Elliot's but a light nonetheless. Ada is obnoxious and pushy and she does ridiculous things without asking when she wants to help, but on some level the saying of "it's the thought that counts" is perhaps true. Basically, while she can annoy him plenty, there is no reason for him to really have anything against her and all in all she's a good person who means well and... doesn't treat Elliot badly or anything. Definitely a plus. She might just as well become really important. Honestly, friendship just keeps sneaking up on him lately.

To Leo, the most important thing about Noel is that she is Elliot's friend and cares just about as much for him as Leo does. She has been there for him when Leo couldn't be and for that Leo is incredibly grateful. And because of this, he has always known that Noel is, in some ways at least, because such things... Elliot can tell such things. Mostly. He is, however, also wary because for some weird reason Elliot seems drawn to people there is one way or another something off with. Add that to the fact that Noel has admitted to having something in common with him and despite everything Elliiot has told him... he still considers hiself one of the greatest threats. Thus, he's concerned that Noel will turn out to be one too and he doesn't want that, both for Elliot and for the fact that... he doesn't want to have to kill her or something. Because Noel? She became a friend to him too somewhere along the line. Elliot is and always has been the most important thing so if it comes down to it, he will do anything to protect Elliot no matter what, but the thought that it might end up that way? Hit hurts. But even so... That wouldn't make a difference in the end...

Irritating. That's what Mozart is. But in plenty of ways, talking to him has several times made Leo feel... oddly at peace. He ticks Leo off in ways that remind him rather of Elliot, though there is the fact that compared to Elliot he seems less harmless and more... vicious. And, honestly, he's quite unstable. Not that Leo can say he's any better off himself... But still. Aside from that, Leo has found Mozart amusing and not a bad company, enough that he even considered contacting him after they both snapped (in slightly different ways) in the library. Except that... Really, it's probably just as well. After all, Leo has never brought anyone anything good and if he can get anyone to just stay away... He's fine with that. Perfectly fine. It's for the better.

It's all very, very simple. Jin has threatened to kill Elliot, sworn to kill Elliot, and for that... Well. He must die. Leo hates him with every fiber of his being, in a way that tears and burns whenever he so much as thinks about it. And if the bastard dares even get in the proximity of Elliot again, Leo will find a way to exterminate him.
